Welcome to the Changing Europe Summer Schools. Each year the Changing Europe Summer School brings together 20 to 30 young academics (i.e. mainly doctoral students from disciplines like political science, economics, sociology, social anthropology, law, geography and history) working on issues related to countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
Europe has changed significantly and is now facing even more dramatic transformations with the enlargement of the European Union, the introduction of the euro and its increased role as a global actor in world affairs.
